Encourage recycling in the Klamath Basin through citizen action and education activities like booths, Earth Day activities, and our annual First Grade recycler project. Call Dwight or Ralph

Energy Conservation/Solar and Alternative Energy Sources:

Get news, activities, and resources from the Klamath Solar Assoc. and others. Call Solar Assn Rep Scott

Green Building/Smart Growth:

Learn about Green Building techniques like straw bale construction, LEED certification, etc. Call Nabil Buy used bldg. materials at the ReStore. Call 850-2173

Environmental Stewardship Issues:

Watch out for local decisions that impact the future for all of us. Learn about local opportunities for conservation education and activities. Get involved with groups like Klamath Wingwatchers, Klamath Basin Audubon, and Klamath Greenways. Call Dwight, Ralph, or Leslie

Social Justice Issues:

Work in cooperation with individuals and organizations to address issues from affordable housing to tolerance and inclusion of cultural diversity. Call Leslie

Healthy Communities:

Support efforts to increase healthy activities, diet, and personal habits. Call Melissa, Healthy Active Klamath

Local Food Network Committee:

Get local food into schools and institutions; partner with Farmers Market to increase local food use. Call Dwight.

Population issues:

Encourage wanted and well planned children. Support the right of self determination regarding family size. Call Leslie
